Description

Academy, 78rpm, table top, wind up gramaphone. Original pick up designed for this model, (see picture). Lovely sound, compact and easily portable, (we have been known to take it on picnics, 78's sound wonderful competing with the birds!) New spring four years ago and it isn't something used every day.
I am selling it because my wife bought me a floor standing model for our anniversary and I also still have a portable, (for the picnics!)
This is a great opportunity to buy a lovely piece of practical, useable history that sounds great; music played on a 78 sounds so immediate!
Thanks for reading all this and good luck bidding.
Buyer collects from Mere in Wiltshire as not something one can post!

Portable enough for those summer picnics! :)
