Description
Apple acetates are rare enough by themselves. Full LP Apple acetates are basically never seen.
From my personal collection, purchased in 1988 and stored in mylar record sleeve in a smoke-free home.
Mary Hopkin "Those Were The Days" Apple full-length acetate LP.
The official catalogue number is SAPCOR 23, and was released in November 24, 1972. Presumably, this acetate was pressed in the weeks or months leading up to that date.
The vinyl is in EX condition: nice and shiny, and plays perfectly. Hand-typed Apple acetate labels are not attached to LP, and they came this way. I thought about gluing them on at one point, then just decided to let them be. You can easily attach them if you'd like, and in the pics they have just been gently placed on the records.
Cover is VG. 3-inch tape seam to top corner. Top spine cracking a bit, a little soiled.
Two promotional photos of Mary, glossy black and white, included.
