Description
ACETATE / Dubplate COMEDY HOUR 2/7/54 JIMMY DURANTE Eddie Jackson & Chorus It is a 10" 33rpm 1 sided disc. It runs approx. 8 minutes 15 seconds
Condition: VG+ slight indentation at the edge (see last picture) causes no sound defects. There is a scratch that causes popping on the dead wax into the opening laughs (the disc opens with laughter) but it ends by the time the music/ Durante comes in. After that it plays a strong VG+ or better with maybe a light pop or 2 but virtually no background hiss.
The first 20 seconds are Durante The next approx 3&1/2 minutes are the Chorus Singing "Showtrain" The last approx 4:45 are Durante playing piano, singing w/ Eddie Jackson "Keep That Tempo" & "Bill Bailey's Coming Home" & then some Durante & Jackson shtick with the chorus ending with them all doing very short reprise of "Show train" OF COURSE I COMBINE PURCHASES FOR THE CHEAPER SHIPPING
