Description
Out-of-print self-titled LP from Bermuda Triangle reissued by Anazitisi Records (ARLP 70-21F) in 2008. Limited edition heavy vinyl Greek repress of this private press that was originally released in 1977. The group was a trio led by Roger and Wendy Penney who came up through the 60's New York City folk scene and continued with their residual hippie approach to music through to this late-70's anomaly. Side 1 has a few cover tunes given an unusual treatment (electrified harpsichord!) and Side 2 becomes much more cosmic and interesting with nice male/female trade-off lead vocals and the electric harpsichord run through some cool effects. Very distinctive sound! Vinyl record has one bonus track, comes in a nice textured cardboard jacket and includes a gatefold insert with photos, lyrics and bio.
