Description

  • Bach “Sonata No 3 In C Major For Violin Unaccompanied” (Columbia ML 4309, Long Play Microgroove blue label, US) performed by Adolf Busch.
  • The copyright date on this very early LP is 1950.
  • Also on the record is Bach’s “Concerto No 1 in D Minor for Piano and Orchestra" featuring Eugene Istomin (piano) with the Busch Chamber Players, Adolf Busch, conductor.
  • The solo violin side of the record amazingly looks and plays near mint with just some very slight occasional surface noise. The Busch Chamber Players side of the LP is also visually near mint with just a few light marks. The playback is not quite as good as the solo violin side so I have to downgrade that side to VG+. The cover shows just light wear with the start of a small split at the bottom cover opening.
  • Considering the age of this LP, it is in amazing condition.
  • NO reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
  • In the US, the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($4.43) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Airmail shipping and handling to Canada is $14.50. All other locations outside the US are $20.00. These include the new US Postal Service shipping charges as of Jan 27. Good luck!
