Description

Beautiful original 1961 first pressing double-LP of the complete Giselle ballet music by Adolphe Adam, conducted by Anatole Fistoulari on Mercury Living Presence stereo SR2-9011. FR4/FR3/FR4/FR1 stampers. This copy is just beautiful with a few very light superficial sleeve scuffs, and plays nearly flawlessly and beautifully, with only many occasional light tick or gentle crackle. Barely ever. Really it plays just beautifully. The cover as well is in excellent condition, with only minimal wear. There is some extremely light edgewear in one or two places, and a bit of sticker residue at the top left corner, but overall it is a perfectly lovely cover. This is an incredible high-level audiophile recording and sounds so amazing you won't believe it. A top original copy that is very hard to beat.
