Description
NOTE: The LP sleeves are all M-, discs probably never played. But, there are scuffs on two corners of the box. (see photos). Gold promo stamps. One LP with cut corner and timing strip (see photo). This is from the record company. My educated guess is that Columbia (Sony) made up the boxes then started filling them with stock from the shelves. So, early ones might be all white label until they ran out, then stock copies were used. This is probably why the Greatest Hits is white label, since it was the latest release and there were probably more left in the warehouse. That Columbia would go back and print up more white labels for 2-10-year-old records jsut to service radio stations seems likely. That someone would trade out the white lable copies for stock copies is also unlikely. I got this from the station where I worked.
