Aesop Rock & Jeremy Fish – The Next Best Thing
Released by Definitive Jux and Upperplayground in July 2006 this record and paperback book are a collaboration between rapper Aesop Rock and artist Jeremy Fish. The 7 inch record plays Aesop Rock rapping a short story about the creative process while Jeremy Fish illustrates the story with 24 pages of artwork.
The record has The Next Best Thing story on side one and a song titled The One That Got Away on side two. The record is a 7 inch picture disc, both sides have artwork by Jeremy Fish and has only been played once to rip to mp3, which I could email a copy at request of auction winner.
