Description
Up for auction is a NEW un-played copy of AFI and Loose Change. This is easily one of the most collectible 45s (or LPs) of the last 20 years. It is impossibly rare; there were only about 200 of these ever pressed. No doubt destined to become a 45 of collecting lore, and continue to increase in value. I've owned it since the mid-90s when I acquired it and resisted the urge to ever play it. I have a record collection of some 15,000 LPs and 45s and all are stored in a climate and light controlled (no sun at all) and no electric light except for about 4 hours per week. The cover has a mild wrinkle in top, but considering it is almost 20 years old and the outer cover is basically heavy paper folded in half I think it has survived remarkably well. I still can't quite believe I'm letting this go (probably one of my five most valuable discs and easily the rarest), but...here we are. Lots of stories in the liner notes. I went to high school with most of these guys, their sisters, their friends etc. Still friends with many of them (liner notes folks anyway, though I saw Chon Travis of Loose Change the other day in Chevron). Selling proper ebay style, .99 start with no reserve. Record will be packed perfectly with no chance for damage (I ship LPs all the time). After it has been placed in a new record mailer, it will be placed in a large box with lots of foam peanuts. Shipping (to contiguous 48) and full final value insurance are FREE!
