Description

Aftermath by the Rolling Stones.

SKL 4786
XZAL 7209 1W/XZAL 7210

Ultra rare UK white label export copy to the best of my knowledge.. seemingly never even sold on discogs.com.

Would appear to be the only example on ebay at the time of listing & the cheapest one (of only two) on discogs.com is priced at over £400 in Germany.

Firstly, the record:

Visually very nice. Labels are clean and unmarked with minimal spindle wear indicating a lesser played copy. Light signs of play either side & a very small but slightly deeper knock on side B but generally seemingly very well looked after.

I have play tested this record (no *visual testing only nonsense* & found it to be very enjoyable. Some crackle on the quieter sections (notably Lady Jane) & a pop here & there either side. The aforementioned knock on side B causes a heavy pop/light skip at the end of Take it or Leave it. Audio would clearly go up a grade with a pro clean but it's pretty good as it is.

Secondly, the sleeve:

Non specific signs of age (i.e. light corner wear/small patches of laminate lift) but otherwise unmarked & unmolested. Nice spine too.

What appears to be the original inner sleeve is present & in lovely condition.

Maybe one to be listened to & enjoyed rather than locked in a vault but an unquestionably rare beast. A great collectable at a realistic starting price.

**See my other great records**

I post promptly and securely second class to keep costs down and I sometimes use recycled packaging.

Polite disclaimer:

If you don't have the means to pay for a bid within 48 hours of sale then please let me know before bidding.

Also if you intend making an offer but you have further questions about the items for sale, then you should ask them *prior to making that offer. By making an offer you are committed to the sale should the retailer accept it as per eBay terms and conditions. Sorry to have to mention this but I've suffered some frankly rotten buying etiquette recently.

Domestic or GSP buyers only please.

Check out my feedback, bid with confidence, & thanks for looking
