Original black label, deep groove, stereo. 8 tracks with leader, Ahmed Abdul-Malik, bass, oud. Includes Jerome Richardson, flute; Benny Golson, Johnny Griffin, tenor sax; Naim Karacand, violin; Ahmed Yetman, kanoon, Al Harewood, drums; Mike Hamway, Bilal Abdurrahman, darabeka. Recorded in NYC in 1959.
Cover: 5" split on the top edge; 2" and 1" split on the bottom edge. Corner and edge wear. Sticker from a record store on the upper spine corner of the back cover. Light aging on the back cover with a partial, light record ring. Small red check mark on the spine corner of the back cover.
