Purple label with deep groove both sides. "RVG" in the runouts on both sides. "203 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." address on back cover.
Record looks VG++/VG+. A hard record to play grade. This is one of those noisy New Jazz pressings. Record plays with light to moderate surface noise due to vinyl quality which is below the level of the music. The music is strong and undistorted. Record plays mostly VG+, but VG on quiet passages due to the pressing noise. There's some scuffs, more on Side 2. No deep or long scratches. Name written on label Side 1.
Cover is VG.
Front and back covers have moderate to heavy wear with ring wear. Name written at top of back.. Top seam is split app 1 inch at the pocket and untaped. Seam is heavily worn and there's about 2 inches of missing slick at the spine. Bottom seam is split and untaped app 1 inch at the pocket. It's also split and untaped app 1 inch in the middle and there's app 1 inch of slick missing at the spine with heavy wear. Spine is split 1/4 inch with heavy wear at the bottom with another small spot of heavy wear at the top.
