This box set, 3 LPs, 6 sides, is the Complete Opera in Four Acts of Verdi's Aida, with Chorus and Orchestra of The Rome Opera House, Conducted by Alberto Paoletti from Capitol Classics PCR-8179, 33 1/3.  Released in 1952.  The soprano is Stella Roman, the Mezzo-soprano is Sylvia Sawyer,  the Tenor is Gino Sarri and the Baritone is Antonio Manca Serra.

The three vinyls all appear to be in VG to VG+ condition. Any scratches are minor, cannot be felt and are hard to see.  There are minor marks. See photographs and below.

The box cover is in VG condition. The Box cover has wear and marks but still looks good. The flip lid, at three corners has split where it fits over the bottom part of the box.  At one of the corners there is an one inch split a long the the top fold. Bottom part of the box has no splits. The cardboard hinge that joints the top and bottom part of the box is not split.

There are three inner sleeves. Each has about 2.5 split/tear on each of the three closed sides where the vinyl comes into contact with the sleeve.  Some minor browning. The sleeves are unmarked and not greased.

One vinyl has side 1 and 6, it has some minor scratches that appear very light and some minor marks.

The matrix number on the run out groove area on side 1 is 9-52, at nine o'clock and at bottom PCR-1-8179-Y3 and side 6 the matrix number is 9-52 at nine o'clock and at bottom PCR-1-8179-Z2.

One vinyl has side 3 and 4, it appears to have only one minor light scratch, if there are other scratches they are difficult to see. Each side may have some minor light marks, but minor.

The matrix number on side 3 is 9-52 and at bottom PCR-3-8179-Y1.
The matrix number on side 4 is 9-52 and at bottom PCR-3-8179-Z1.

One vinyl has side 2 and 5, it has some minor scratches that appear very light and some minor marks.

The matrix number on side 2 is 9-52 and at bottom PCR-2-8179-Y3.
The matrix number on side 5 is 9-52 and at bottom PCR-2-8179-Z2.

The last photograph is a page from Dec 6, 1952 Billboard with a review of the Box Set when it was released, it does not come with the set.

There may have been an original insert booklet that I do not have. Selling just what is photographed minus the Billboard page. I have not played any of the LPs. If you have questions ask. Thank you for looking.
