Description

Rare 7" single-sided 78 rpm single featuring Aileen Stanley. Titled 'Opening Night Souvenir "Kit Cat Club"'. Other text on this HMV recording states 'WITH COMPLIMENTS OF THE GRAMOPHONE CO., LTD, HAYES, MIDDX' and bears the number '1-3000'. I am assuming that this relates to the reopening of the Kit Cat Club, Haymarket on 10th October 1927. The record is in good condition.

On 06-Mar-14 at 12:16:01 GMT, seller added the following information:

One of the bidders for this item has written '...on your listing you suggested this was produced in about 1927. In actual fact it was produced for the Opening of the Kit Cat Club in May 1925.'
