Description

AIR

Three vinyl titles from The Virgin Suicides box set (2015 Parlophone, Europe)

1) The Virgin Suicides (red vinyl)

  • Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Only a very small number of minor flaws present (ex. a couple of faint hairlines, a light scuff). No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume. Cover shows no significant ring wear, nor seam splits.
  • Comment on condition: I am the original owner, listened to sparingly over the years. This sounds terrific overall with no untoward issues that jumped out at me.
2) Playground Love (red vinyl 12" single in a die-cut outer sleeve)
  • Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Only a very small number of minor flaws present (ex. a couple of faint hairlines, a light scuff). No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume. Cover shows no significant ring wear, nor seam splits.
  • Comment on condition: I am the original owner, recently listened to for the first time. This sounds terrific overall with no untoward issues that jumped out at me. No inner sleeve as the red vinyl is intended to show through the die-cut hearts in the sleeve. Will ship in a lined inner sleeve.
3) The Virgin Suicides Live (picture disc vinyl)
  • Very Good Plus (VG+): More slight signs of wear but still an excellent condition record that plays well. Any surface noise is very minimal and the record is still an enjoyable listen. No groove wear. Cover may show minor defects including very light ring wear.
  • Comment on condition: I am the original owner with original seal unbroken in pictures. Opened and listened to for the first time recently. Typical picture disc "whooshing" heard on lead-in but as the music gets going, I pretty much don't hear it. There is some crackle/pops at times, not really excessive but I'm more tolerant of slight surface noice when listening to certain vinyl albums, particularly picture discs. This is exclusive to the box set and not particularly available on vinyl elsewhere unless one were to break up the box as I have done.
Ships via media mail with insurance and high quality packing for $9.75
