Description

"A Petites Choses," by Ajour, released on Les Editions de la Membrure in Quebec in 1978. Fantastic and obscure privately released folk psych record by this duo of Quebec acoustic guitarists. Beautiful, poetic music, with superb guitar interplay, delicate and lyrical. The term "folk psych" is bandied about indiscriminately by most record sellers in order to create appeal - here it absolutely applies, as the music is dreamy and low-key, with a nocturnal ambience and yearning, quivering, slightly pained vocals. A gem of a record, seemingly unknown - certainly Hans Pokora should profile it. My highest recommendation. Vinyl in excellent condition, cover fine save for mild ringwear.
