Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, R&B and a few rock n' roll 10" 78's. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.
Here's the info on this item:

Release: Peppermint Harris - I Sure Do Miss My Baby / Hey Little Schoolgirl

Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record

Year: 1952

Notes: White label promo first press. Early single by Harris who started out by accompanying Lightnin' Hopkins. Great R&B leaning blues here. What's interesting about this one is that the B-side Hey Little Schoolgirl has been marked out and tagged as restricted. Presumably, it's because of the songs potentially lecherous subject matter.

Record Condition: E+, The record plays great with great sound, very little wear. Very clean with just some very light scuffing in a couple of spots, b-side probably never played. Labels are in nice shape, but do have a sticker number on one side and a sicker + grease pencil on the other. See pics for exact condition on this one, but it's really nice.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
