Description
This is part of a larger auction of original, 1950's-era blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's. For this round, the focus is on smaller labels like Ace, Baton, Ember, Aladdin and more. There are several nice rarities and a handful of bonus listings of records on *really* small labels.

Release: Charles Brown And Band - My Heart Is Mended / Trees, Trees
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1955
Notes: Maroon label 1st pressing. Earlier single by Brown who was from South Texas and worked continuously from the 1940's through the 90's. A-side is a stellar blues track, every bit as good as the Chicago masters. B-side is a pretty good song as well, but you are buying this one for My Heart.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is very clean with almost no cosmetic wear at all, just a couple of very faint surface marks. It has been play tested and plays great with no pops or skips, minimal to no background noise. Sound is fantastic. Labels are nice and clean as well with just some very light scuffing. No writing, tears or stickers. Very nice copy of this one.
