I am selling off my personal collection of original UK first pressing vinyl albums to supplement a house move. It's sad to see them go but the money will come in useful. I have adopted the Record Collector magazine’s Grading Guide to describe the condition and I have also play-checked each album, so you can be confident about buying. The pictures are also of the actual album you are bidding on.

Description and Track List
This album (catalogue no. K56121) is an original 1975 UK first pressing. It is in such good condition because it has been stored in a protective plastic cover since new. THIS IS A VERY COLLECTIBLE COPY AND IF YOU ARE A COLLECTOR IT SHOULD BE A GOOD INVESTMENT.
When Lindisfarne’s leading light, Alan Hull, took the central role in the 1974 BBC TV play ‘Squire’, for which he also wrote the soundtrack, he decided to adopt the play’s title – and title track – for a solo album. Released a year later ‘Squire’ sounds like an inspired amalgam of the most durable ingredients of John Lennon’s solo albums. Any of the songs herein could have pursued Lindisfarne's biggest hits to the top of the chart, especially the title track, with its dryly humorous lyric and ever-so-catchy chorus, while "One More Bottle of Wine" and "Golden Oldies" both look forward to the parent band's reincarnation with songs that insist you sing along with them. There's also a wonderful crash through "Nothin' Shakin' (But the Leaves on the Trees)" to remind listeners of Hull's own roots in the bluesy rock boom of the early '60s - the Beatles famously included the same song in their Cavern-era live set, and Hull with his lacerating, hard-assed slapback vocal breathes the same beer-and-ciggies-flavoured air through his version.
It's a lovely LP, now rare and very sought-after, and worth seeking out wherever you can find it, and a reminder that, at his 1970s peak, Hull was regarded as one of Britain's most exquisitely English songwriters.

Condition (using Record Collector Magazine grading)
I have tried to provide good quality large pictures of the album and sleeves. Please take the time to click through them and satisfy yourself of the quality of this LP. The pictures should speak for themselves.
Vinyl = EXCELLENT: The record has been played a few times but is still in excellent condition and near mint, with just one very light surface scratch. I have play-tested the album and there is absolutely no discernable lessening in sound quality. It’s also a good quality pressing with very little background noise.
Cover = EXCELLENT: The cover sleeve has been kept in a protective plastic sleeve since new and so it is in excellent condition with just the odd mark consistent with the age.
Note
The record will be very well packaged and sent Royal Mail Small Parcel, which is the cheapest option.
I do combine postage too, only ever charging at actual cost plus eBay’s fee on postage, so please check out my other records. Over the next month or two I will be selling several hundred albums including others by the same artist.
