From ESP Records (1016) this is NEW YORK EYE AND EAR CONTROL by ALBERT AYLER, a first mono pressing in beautiful condition. Jacket is about EX; deep groove LP appears NEAR MINT MINUS and play grades much higher. The ESP label catalog us about perfect (FINE) and the original inner sleeve is MINT. Overall, a most desirable example of the soundtrack to Michael Snow's film of the same name.
The Cuts:
- "Don's Dawn" (Cherry/Peacock) – 0:57
- "AY" (Ayler) – 20:17
- "ITT" (Ayler) – 22:05
Personnel & Instrumentation:
- Albert Ayler - tenor
- Don Cherry - trumpet
- John Tchicai - alto
- Roswell Rudd - trombone
- Gary Peacock - bass
- Sunny Murray - drums
