Description
Stax S-723 (stereo), “Born Under a Bad Sign” with Albert King, vocals and guitar; from 1967. Original yellow-label vinyl plays at VG+ with definite light static between tracks much of which is inaudible during the songs themselves. The jacket is VG+ with solid seams all around except for about ¾” (2 cm) of wear at the bottom opening; corners are basically square; there is light age toning; there are no bends, writing, or stamps. Songs are “Born Under a Bad Sign”, “Crosscut Saw”, “Kansas City”, “Oh, Pretty Woman”, “Down Don’t Bother Me”, “The Hunter”, “I Almost Lost My Mind”, Personal Manager”, “Laundromat Blues”, “As the Years Go Passing By”, and “The Very Thought of You”. A seminal electric blues LP that branches out into balladry on Side B. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs
