Description

Up for auction is a Stereo pressing of Albert King, Born Under A Bad Sign LP on Stax Records S723. U.S. pressing from 1967, has yellow colored center labels.

Song titles are:
BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN/CROSSCUT SAW/KANSAS CITY/OH, PRETTY WOMAN/DOWN DON’T BOTHER ME/THE HUNTER/I ALMOST LOST MY MIND/PERSONAL MANAGER/LAUNDROMAT BLUES/AS THE YEARS GO PASSING BY/THE VERY THOUGHT OF YOU

Visually vinyl looks pretty close to M-. The very lightest of a few paper scuffs or light lines. Great looking shine, sheen and high gloss on vinyl. Center labels look near perfect and new. Center hole is sharp cornered and has no spindle marks. Plays super loud, clear crisp and clean. Play graded vinyl is also Near Mint.

Cover has some shelf wear. Ring wear on top and bottom of front and back of cover. 4” split seam on top right, 2” split seam near center of bottom and light wear along spine but spine is still stiff. Colors are still bold with great graphics. Back cover is slightly yellowing. Cover jacket grades VG+ due to age wear. A Mint Minus record with a slightly worn cover, is just the way I like it.
