Description
Condition: Used, pre-owned, there is no vinyl record at all inside, the actual album cover is good.
Grading: We are not known for selling vinyl records on Ebay, we mostly have train and bus items.
We may not grade on expert level like Goldmine standards and like many music stores on Ebay do.
Vinyl record:
The release is a double LP compilation. We don't have any of the vinyl records that are part of this production. Album cover only is available.
Album sleeve details:
Front cover is clean. Not much ring wear, no labels or writing, seems clean..no major issues we can determine. Would consider this to be in very good condition.
Back cover: Very clean also, no ring wear, no writing, no labels, or rips.
Please rely on the photos to determine the quality level of the album prior to any bids.
Description: Original best of compilation of many rap music artists on a title produced
called: Hip Hop Greats. Only the actual album cover is being sold, no vinyl records.
The original release was from 1986 and says the album jacket was made in Canada.
This could be an import from Canada, we are not sure. Rare graffiti style design from the 1980's when many murals were in the city and many train lines in NYC had graffiti productions on them also.
If you like the artwork and maybe know where this was done, this would be a good item to have.
The front cover shows a close up photo of a wall mural painted to say "Hip Hop Greats".
The artwork is credited to a person who is known as Stash, first name of Josh.
On the reverse side, shows part of the same mural and credits, says Thank to PS41, had to be a permission mural for the album company I guess. The name of a group called Urban Blight is also
mentioned, could be a person from that group was involved also in painting the wall..
This is not a CD copy. Only a vinyl original 12 in size record. We are not sure if this was released on CD at all, probably not on CD at all.

Also, if you like anything having to do with NYC subways and history, we recommend you check this photo book series that shows 1970’s and 1980’s era trains, the series is called:
“Making All Stops” – the webpage name is the same as the book name.
That book shows many trains in use from the 1970's and you may like that connection to history.
Hardcore history for the New York train minded person to enjoy.
It’s all in color and a quality product for your transit collection.
