Description
Prestige Bluesville 1076, "Creepin' Blues" with Alec Seward, vocals and guitar; Larry Johnson, mouth harp; from 1963; This is the second pressing from 1964+. Trident-label vinyl plays at VG+ with little background sound; there is a slight warp in the vinyl which is visible at eye level, but it seems to have no effect on the sound. The jacket is VG+ with light wear on the top and bottom seams and a split of about 2" ((5 cm) at top center; there is a slight bend at bottom right; the jacket is otherwise very clean with no writing and a factory "RW" stamp on the back. Songs are "Big Hip Mama", "Evil Woman Blues", "Goin' Down Slow", "Sweet Woman", "Some People Say", "Creepin' Blues", "I Made a Mistake in Love", "Piney Woods", "Late One Saturday Evening", and "Let a Good Thing Do". Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
