Description
Alex Harvey - Roman Wall Blues - 1969 - Fontana, (STL. 5534).
Classic 1969 masterpiece of blues, psychedelia and soul. Featuring Midnight Moses and Jumping Jack Flash.
This record is certainly the ultimate rarity for all of those serious about collecting rare albums. Definite investment for the future!
The album cover is in VG+ condition. There is some creasing to the laminated sleeve across the spine, top and bottom seams, no seam splits, rips or tears, some minor flaking on the top left hand corner and middle of the bottom seam. There is also a barely noticeable sticker mark in top right hand corner, easily removed with some lighter fluid, due to the sleeve being laminated.
Overall strong and solid. It is very hard to find these flimsy sleeves in top condition.
The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some creasing, discolouration and writing in the top right and bottom right hand corner. No rips, seam splits or tears.
The record is in VG+ condition. Really shiny, some very light surface marks and scuffs, nothing serious, some spindle marks on both sides, no rips, tears or writing to the labels, spindle hole is solid.
Record sounds fantastic with great dynamics. Very hard to find clean sounding copies.
The record has been professionally cleaned by myself on a Pro-Ject VC-S2 ALU record cleaning machine and comes supplied with a polypropylene outer sleeve for the album cover and a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab inner sleeve for protection of the record.
These sleeves are favoured among audiophiles and collectors alike for long term preservation of vinyl albums.
This package will be sent by Royal Mail. The type of delivery method is: Royal Mail Tracked 24 and it will come to a total of £4.19.
It is imperative for not just me, but the buyer to have a delivery service with tracking, so we can both make sure the record arrives promptly and safely. It is a small price to pay to avoid any major upset about a missing package.
I will be using a strong mailer with stiffeners and a fragile sticker to ensure that everything is safe and secure before dispatch. The record will be removed from its sleeve and placed behind it to avoid any potential seam splits during transit. This all comes free of charge.
