Up for bid is a rare LP, "Oar," by Alexander "Skip" Spence. See pictures for song list. This was released by Columbia Records (CS 9831) in 1969. LP is VG++, with several faint scuffs and a couple of very tiny light scratches. There is a light lip warp that does not cause skips during play of LP. There is minimal surface noise (some light crackle, tics, and pops) with no skips. Listen to the first track on either side below, from this actual LP:




LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits, still in the original shrink wrap. There are a couple of breathing holes on the front of the jacket in the shrink wrap. The shrink wrap is split along the bottom seam, from the front bottom left corner toward the spine about 5 inches. The exposed area along the bottom seam shows seam wear. The exposed front top right and bottom right corners show corner wear. There is a small crease in the front lower right corner. There is scuffing on the front of the jacket near the center of the mouth (see pictures). There is a small hole drilled in the front top left corner. There is some scuffing along the lip on the back of the jacket. There are some small areas of discoloration on the back of the jacket (see pictures). The coloring is still bright, and the front retains a nice gloss. All that said, this is a truly beautiful copy of this 1969 press. You will be hard pressed to find another copy this nice!
