What I’m selling:
 I took a lot of time putting this listing together.  Please read it in full before "purchasing now" on this unique product.  Failure to do so subjects you to fault, not me.  If you have any questions, I suggest you contact me first before buying this item.  Same with shipping, since you will be given options, but as you well know, we need to put "canned" eBay shipping info on all items.  So what's posted is not correct, but the body of this summary clearly spells out purchasing terms.  I also do not ship until your payment has cleared for three business days.  I take very careful care in packaging all of my shipments myself, have never had a return and have a perfect 100% score on selling and on buying through this site.

If you are a fan of Nick Drake, Jens Lekman, Mark Lanegan, Morrissey (or the  or even Elliot Smith or American Music Club), and you haven’t heard Alexi Murdoch’s one and only full LP, you have some hard thinking to do.  You can sample Murdoch’s songs all over YouTube.  He almost never tours (incredibly, he played a show in my hometown back in the Fall of 2011 to 120 adoring fans -- the concert sold out in 17 minutes). 

Late last year, Zero Summer Records released the album, “Time Without Consequence” in two stunning versions.  First, the black vinyl double album in tri-fold packaging, the second, a 180-gram double white vinyl version that was limited to 500 copies disbursed throughout the world.  Both are out-of-print.

Currently I am selling the extremely hard-to-find white vinyl version in mint sealed, near mint sealed and also copies of the black vinyl version which are no longer being manufactured, either.  The photos you see in this listing are the two black vinyl double albums.  Since they are sealed, I can't show you the entire package, but I'm selling the white vinyl on eBay right now and you can find plenty of pictures all from my copy and the copies I’m selling.  I used a combination because I want buyers to see the entire packaging with my photos of my opened record, but also the minuscule damage BOTH were subjected to.  There’s a bit of corner pinching that may bother the most elite of purist collectors, but unfortunately, those minor dents in the upper left hand corner and the lower right hand corner were caused by the manufacturer, who chose to shrink wrap each LP (again, it's a trifold record, which means the spine is almost 1/2" and crushable because it has nothing to support the most inner backing from the most outer backing if shrunk too tight or dropped, etc.  Another seller sent me several white vinyl copies that are shrinkwrapped to the back of thick cardboard, then shrinkwrapped again.  The minor dents on some corners in no way take over the beautiful aesthetic of the entire package, and only 500 people own a copy.  No one has successfully sold one on Discogs due to price gouging and enormous shipping expenses on top of that, and the listings on eBay are asking for roughly $125 USD + another $50 for shipping, and one of them is the black vinyl version, the other white.  and it’s currently listed for $122.61 with a shipping cost set at $32.18.  That’s $154.79 for the non-limited black printing (though Alexi’s management just sent out a reminder to fans that once the black printing is sold out, neither will be repressed.  Period).  You get a MINT sealed copy from me, on black or white vinyl (again, I have them listed separately) and packaged any number of ways depending on how much risk you want to take with the record when it is shipped to you.  I based my shipping by going to the post office and having the records and my shipping materials weighed out for the US, Canada and elsewhere worldwide.  I will not be profiting from my shipping expenses in the least, and depending on where you live, I'll probably pay additionally for my items to get to you.  Based on which is less expensive, your record will be shipped media mail or priority mail (believe it or not, some countries, particularly the U.S. -- it actually costs less to ship something priority than media).  Remember as well, that I, too, paid exorbitant prices for my copies to be shipped to me, and eBay will take a further chunk out of me if this item sells at the reasonable price I'm listing it at.  I will not accept any returns, opened or not, you will be paying for insurance and carry all liability if you choose not to insure this product and it “disappears”.  It will be shipped, with or without insurance, very carefully with a USPS tracking number for the US, Canada and most major countries.  Again, without you paying for insurance, if the record never arrives, it will not be because of me, my responsible stops the moment a tracking sticker has been affixed to my package and I hand it to a USPS employee.  You will receive an update on the tracking number as soon as I ship this.  

I won't be changing the listing price at all any further than I already have.  I'll keep all copies up and running on eBay and after 90 days, whatever hasn't been sold, will simply go back in my collection and brought out another day or year.  You are not going to find a better deal than mine, particularly if you live in the U.S.  And my prices stick.  I paid a lot of money for these and don't stand to profit much unless I want them sitting around here collecting dust.  But I won't undersell so poorly that someone else then turns around and tries to stick it to Alexi Murdoch fans by asking for what's being asked for on eBay and Discogs. 

On to the more important things... Alexi's timeless music.  So Nick Drake, it's like he's been reborn.  But Alexi mixes it up a bit and isn't just a Drake imitation; he's the real deal decades later.     

A bit about Alexi:  
In late 2003, things picked up rapidly and a bit weirdly for folkie Alexi Murdoch. Moving to balmy Los Angeles from Scotland in the late '90s, Murdoch let the sleepy, weepy U.K. folk sound seep into indie and lo-fi influences. But he never did much with his music beyond some local gigs, he worried about damaging his personal attachment to the songs. That was until September 2003, when Murdoch  appeared on Nic Harcourt's tastemaking “Morning Becomes Eclectic” show on the L.A. public radio outlet KCRW. The singer's halting, tender vocals and understated acoustic guitar work made a huge impact, and suddenly, savvy music licensers -- not to mention major labels -- were knocking on the Scotsman's door. He performed at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2004, was slated for SXSW that March, and made all the teenagers cry when his dusty, melancholy "Orange Sky" tinged a particularly sentimental moment on the breakout Fox TV hit The O.C.  Murdoch took his sudden and unexpected success in stride, promoting his self-released EP Four Songs and planning a spring U.S. tour while continuing to field offers from the clamoring major labels. However, not finding the right offer, Murdoch decided to again independently record and issue his first full-length, 2006's “Time Without Consequence” which contained three of the four songs also included on his EP.

Pressed on 180 gram black vinyl with a "Compass Rose" D-side etching. Packaged in a triple-gatefold jacket and includes a digital download card for entire album in 320kbps MP3 format.
