Description

Alice Coltrane "Ptah The El Daoud" featuring Pharoah Sanders and Joe Henderson vinyl, catalog# AS-9196 on Impulse/ ABC Records. Sadly, this is an original 1970 pressing that is warped and is only being sold for display/ other purposes. Please check the description and see pictures before bidding. Label features the "single box" Impulse/ abc logo and cover has the original hype sticker with "featuring Pharoah Sanders and Joe Henderson" which are apparently 2 ways to identify the first pressing. Only about half the record is playable at all, as the first half is affected by the warp and causes the needle to jump.
Vinyl: Poor. Disc is warped on one edge which affects playback. Nearly half the record is unplayable. Moderate scratches on both sides. Labels are clean on both sides. No OIS. Cover: Poor to fair. Writing in large letter on front. Tear and sticker along spine. Ring wear on rear cover. Partial seam split on bottom.
