Up for sale is a nice original 1973 US pressing of Alice Cooper’s blockbuster Billion Dollar Babies (Warner Bros. BS 2685). This is the classic shock-rock album featuring “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” the title track, “Sick Things,” “Mary Ann,” “I Love the Dead,” and more—peak Alice with all the theatrics and hits!

  • Year / Label / Pressing: 1973, Warner Bros. Records (US original embossed “wallet” gatefold with rounded corners) 
  • Inserts Included:
    • Original large billion dollar bill fold-out insert — fully intact and present! 
    • Inner sleeve with $2 Offer — Excellent condition 
    • Note: The perforated “punch-out” photo/trading cards (common with many first pressings) are not included (I don’t recall them being in this copy and they are missing—many collectors add them separately if desired).
  • Condition Breakdown:
    • Vinyl: VG+ — Shiny, but has scuff marks in track five of side 2, however no extra pops or clicks are detectable with headphones. 
    • Inner Sleeve: Excellent (EX) — Clean $2 Offer sleeve 
    • Jacket: Excellent (EX) visually — embossed wallet design looks sharp, but there is a glue failure/separation on one side seam (typical age-related issue on these heavy gatefolds; does not affect closure or display—see photos)
  • Why This Copy Stands Out: Nearly flawless vinyl makes this a great player or collector copy. The intact billion dollar bill is the star insert most people want, and the jacket still displays beautifully despite the minor glue issue.

Ships from a smoke-free home—we do have a pet, but records are stored away from pet areas and handled carefully.
