Records. It is a concept album about Cooper's stay in a New York asylum due to his alcoholism. Each of the characters in the songs were based on actual people Cooper met in the asylum. Among other collaborators, the album features three long-time Elton John associates: lyricist Bernie Taupin, guitarist Davey Johnstone and bassist Dee Murray. ## The Vinyl is described as Excellent+++ & is only just off Near Mint. It was fully play-tested playing with awesome playback, below average background & no skips or stops. Not too many signs of play. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a few extremely fine hairlines & near invisible sleeve-marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as VG+ and is in better condition than most... notorious as it is for rear doors breaking off etc... etc... There is visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is ring-wear to front & verso. There are colour losses to edges & spine. No seam splits. Minor tear top left rear doo. Larger separation to top right rear door which has also suffered quite a bit of creasing. Minor tears along either side of front centre opening panels. Left side of face has some full length creases. A few stains here & there. The Inner Sleeve is conservatively described as VG+. No seam splits & just some minor ring-wear. Please see attached photos...
