Description

This is an incredibly rare find. A white label promo copy of the very first Alice Cooper LP, entitled, “Pretties For You.” I’ve seen them before but what makes this one ultra-rare is that the vinyl is stone dead MINT. I swear, it looks as if its never been played. I held it under a florescent light and the finish on the LP reflects like a MIRROR. This record has been sitting in a radio station somewhere for 50 years UNPLAYED. I would rate the cover to be a strong Mint – only because there is a slight hint of ring wear on the front but its hardly noticeable. There is a slight “ding” on the top left corner (see photos). The white labels on either side are clean and white. I'm not sure why the photos make them appear to have brown spots on them. They do not. They are pure white. The original inner-sleeve is included (which has tape on the edges where the LP has cut through over the years) but I have placed the vinyl in a rice paper sleeve for added protection.  If you are a collector of Alice Cooper LPs or promotional LPs, you might seriously consider bidding on this one. I’ve never seen one in this condition and I doubt I will ever see one ever again. If interested, I also have a white label promo of their second album, “Easy Action”, in almost the same condition as this one.  Paypal is the preferred method of payment and payment is due immediately upon the close of the auction. UPDATE 8/28/17 - I just played this record out of curiosity. There are NO POPS at all that i could detect. I swear this album appears to have never been played before (until now)..
