This is a fantastic 1968 vinyl DEBUT LP by Alice Cooper. "Pretties For You" (STS1051) is extremely rare and hard to find on this ORIGINAL PRESSING on the ORIGINAL YELLOW STRAIGHT LABEL. This first album by Alice Cooper (the group, not the person) is full of HEAVY PSYCH music that the group would get away from later for a more hard rock sound (that's also great, but different). Wow, this VINYL is in AMAZING MINT- CONDITION. It's hard to believe this vinyl could remain in such fantastic condition for all these years, but it has, and I know even the most mint crazed collector will be thrilled ! The original inner sleeve is still intact. The cover looks really great as a whole with NO fading, writing, or ring wear, but it does have some issues. The spine looks great, but the top two corners do have VERY SLIGHT dings. The bottom left corner is a little worse (I would say slight to medium ding). The bottom right corner is the worst of the four with some rounding (on the front part of the gate-fold, not the back) and a worse ding that has caused a one inch crease near the corner. The inside of the gate-fold looks very nice with the slightest of ring wear ONLY at the top and again a one inch crease near the bottom right corner that shows on the inside of gate-fold but NOT the outside. I ship fast and TAKE GREAT CARE TO PACK GOOD AND SAFE in a new album mailer with new filler pads for extra protection. This is a chance to get a very collectible record (that's fantastic music) in amazing condition from a true record lovers collection (mine, and it hurts, but we all do what we have to do). Interesting fact: the front cover art came from a painting hanging on Frank Zappa's wall. IMPORTANT READ BEFORE BIDDING: The only way to get delivery confirmation OUTSIDE the U.S.A. is to ship Express Mail International. Sorry this is so expensive, but I have been taken advantage of in the past and I have to protect myself.
