Description
A rare and hard to find first release 12" ( catalogue number 613 509 ) containing arguably the best version of the song - the Sauna Mix. It was produced by Lati Kronlund who wrote it, after which there followed a flood of remixes. I must admit, the Frankie Knuckles and Dave Morales remix - the Classic Mix - is rather special too but the bassline of the original together with the slow build break in the middle is just irresistible.
The vinyl on the A side shows signs of use but the beauty of the 12" format is that as long as there are no significant scratches or playwear, the sound is protected by the deeper, wider cut of the groove and this copy is a perfect example. The sound is clear with no distortion or audible flaws. The B side has obviously received the most use and isn't anything like as good but the reason you want this copy is for the Sauna Mix.
The sleeve is intact with a damaged lower left hand corner but after 29 years, it has survived well.
