All 100 of the 100 Greatest Recordings of all Time (classical) Franklin Mint. 34 records are in sealed albums, thus in new condition.

In this complete set of 50 albums (100 records), 33 albums are from the original owner (of a very musical family), whom I, the seller, have know for over 25 years.  17 (34 records) of these albums are still sealed.  16 of the 33 albums are unsealed.  17 albums were acquired to complete the 50-album set.

Included in the sale, in addition to the 50 albums, are: indexes that appear every 25 albums;  a 12 x 12 brown-covered cross-reference index for all the records, consisting of the contents of each record as well as a PERFORMER index;  a smaller promotional brochure with a red cover;  and, cover letters are included in most albums.
I prefer that the buyer should have a very good idea of the condition of the unsealed records, so I took the trouble to examine all 66 unsealed records for scratches by viewing each one in sunlight.  Although the records are sold as-is, visible scratches were found on only 5 records (and only 4 scratches were audible). (When testing a record having a visible mark or scratch, I played thru it using my Bang & Olufsen Beogram 5005 linear turntable with an MMC-2 cartridge with its very light stylus pressure and it's perfect diamond stylus.)
(Definitions: a CLICK occurs when the needle stays in the grove;  a SKIP occurs when the needle skips a grove or groves--a skip is much more serious than a click, obviously.)
TEST RESULTS:
1.  Record 2 side A has a visible scratch.  I have listened to the scratched section and can say that the clicks are low in volume and of short duration--"light" as opposed to "heavy", if you will.
2. Record 21 side A, track 1: a visible scratch-like mark, but NO click or skip is heard.
3.  Record 37 side A, track 2: just 'soft' clicks.
4.  Record 58 side A, track 2: a single skip.  It may be due to a speck of food, which a cleaning could possibly remove.
5.  There is one more record with a scratch that initially caused a skip.  I played thru the scratch 4 times with the equipment mentioned, and the skip turned into several soft clicks.  (I apologize for not knowing which record this is.)
NB: The lead photo is borrowed (my albums are already boxed), but represents the good condition that the exteriors of the albums are in.
