Description

An original 1972 1st issue on UK Capricorn. A heavy pressing original 1st - not a later reissue. Matrix 1/1/1/1. You can spot the reissues easily as they are often with a darker brown label - and flimsy!. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Lyric poster is present as is the original inners. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 

Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with slight deviation in one track. A lovely clean player. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Nice clean feed with just a few minor crackles in the run into one track. Overall a great little player. You couldn't really beat it. If top quality audio is the order of the day - your utmost priority - then you would be looking straight down the barrel at the copy you should purchase. Near perfect and later reissues will NOT give you this level of clarity and realism. Each disc has been initialled.
Cover (Ex-) Well preserved cover slightest surface wear - very tidy though. Clean and flat front without creasing. Ditto the rear. Slightest edge wear in the odd spot. Spine is 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Tiny name written extreme top right corner.
Inner (Vg+) NO splits. Sight ageing.
Poster (Vg+) very nice slightest grubiness.
