Another excellent oddity -- Music derived from "enormously amplified brain waves and percussion". One side devoted to the brain waves of Lucier, the other to those of Pauline Oliveros.
As stated on the cover: The first musical work in history to use brain waves to generate sound. On Side A, Alvin Lucier recorded and superimposed eight versions of Music for Solo Performer, overlaying pairs of Western Classical and Jazz percussion instruments, as well as a cardboard box and a trash can. On Side B , Pauline Oliveros recorded four versions, each with a separate World Music percussion orchestra: Indian; West African; Chinese, Japanese and Korean; and Javanese.
CONDITION: Record is Near Mint, cover is VG+.
