Description

Released in 1973 on MCA Records, this double LP soundtrack for George Lucas's seminal film American Graffiti is a definitive collection of early rock and roll and doo-wop. Featuring 41 original hits, the album serves as a nostalgic sonic backdrop to the film's 1962 setting, including timeless tracks by Bill Haley and His Comets, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, and The Beach Boys.
