You are bidding on a very rare American Top 40 set of 4 LPs with the World Tour special edition, originally aired in May 1989, hosted by Shadoe Stevens. AT40, like many national radio shows, was distributed on vinyl discs to radio stations nationwide for airplay.
In addition to the records, the set includes the full script for the show and details on each song (length of song and intro, music library codes, etc.). This feature is very rare, and I have never seen any other radio shows distributed with scripts!
You also get a set of cue sheets, which list all the songs and the running time of each segment.
This edition of the set does not include commercials, suggesting it was designated for overseas affiliates. This special episode includes some of the biggest hits internationally from the 1980s, with stars like Madonna, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson. It also includes segments with DJs from stations around the world.
The vinyl appears to be nearly mint, and the sleeves have a crisp crinkle suggesting this set has not seen much wear.
