Description
Welcome to another auction by Charis Music Group, serving AT40 fans for over a decade!! We love radio shows and figure you do too or else you wouldn't be looking here! If this isn't the show you're looking for, just write. We're your ONE-STOP connection for everything AT40 related. If we don't have it, it's probably not available.
Charis Music Group is glad to help parties interested in having their Casey Kasem AT40 or Casey's Top 40 sets listed. The majority of our listings are for sellers who cannot do this on their own. Interested sellers may contact us for details. This set is from my personal library.
Why is this rare? This set came directly from the pressing plant and was never date stamped on the cover. Unfortunately, someone wrote it in with ink on this cover. The story given to me is that these were from Casey Kasem's collection to distribute as gifts to DJ's/friends/etc. I have no way to confirm nor deny this. However, it is still cool nonetheless to see an undated cover like this. Adding to this oddity, typically, the hinged cover opens from right to left like a book. This one opens from left to right! This is one of a series of 1972 sets I am listing that are from this collection.
You are bidding on the multi-LP American Top 40 set from the week of May 27, 1972. The LPs look great and the remastered set is identical to the one we sent to the archives for Premiere Radio for future airing. These are the ORIGINAL, unedited shows with commercials as they originally aired.
