Why is this rare? This set came directly from the pressing plant and was never date stamped on the cover. The story given to me is that these were from Casey Kasem's collection to distribute as gifts to DJ's/friends/etc. I have no way to confirm nor deny this. However, it is still cool nonetheless to see an undated cover like this. This is one of a series of 1972 sets I am listing that are from this collection.

You are bidding on the multi-LP American Top 40 set from the week of July 1, 1972.  The LPs look great and the remastered set is identical to the one we sent to the archives for Premiere Radio for future airing. These are the ORIGINAL, unedited shows with commercials as they originally aired.
