Description
American Top 40 Casey Kasem February 3, 1979. Condition is "Used".
It's February 10, 1979 and Casey is counting the Top 40 tunes in the nation and "Long Distance Dedications" are in full swing. Only 3 debut records this week, while the other 37 hits sit SOLIDLY onto the Top 40. This is the era when two competing genres of music co-existed together: rock and disco. Olivia Newton-John, The Village People, Rod Stewart, and Chic vie for the top of the charts this week. The countdown includes the latest from: The Blues Brothers, The Doobie Brothers, Donna Summer, and the Talking Heads...Quite a mish- mash! One of the debuting records here includes the most expensive 45 rpm ever released and in the shape of a red heart to boot! LOTS of great trivia found here in this REALLY NICE 4 LP boxed set. (This set does not include the original song list page.) These shows are getting harder and harder to find especially in this condition. Thanks for stopping by! :---)
