American Top 40 May 2, 1987  with printed note from Casey re: Russia This edition played ONLY ONCE on 5/2/87 and is in exceptional condition.
This piece of history is especially relevant now as it features a letter written to radio programmers regarding a humanitarian event Casey Kasem was promoting regarding "The American Soviet Walk...Ending The Arms Race Nobody Wants". In the letter (featuring a PRINTED autograph from Casey...we in no way want to suggest this is a personally autographed piece) Casey talks about he and his wife Jean, walking the final seven day stretch into Moscow, culminating with a concert.  See the letter in photos.
We felt this was especially relevant in light of Russia's recent aggressions in the Ukraine.
You may choose to participate in the auction, or make an offer to be considered.
THIS EDITION OF THE SHOW features Charlie Van Dyke sitting in for Casey, except for the PSA's regarding the Walk.
