Description
(Decca DL-74833) Ultra-rare original STEREO release of the highly collectible seasonal album featuring excerpts recorded directly from the film soundtracks of Universal's monster movie classics. The graveyard cover is iconic, but the real surprise is the disc itself, with Karloff providing narrative intros to what emerge as genuinely terrifying film excerpts, made more so through the echo chamber effect of 1960s simulated stereo. You wouldn't think they'd be so effective without the visuals. COVER: Strong VG++ with slight edge wear. No cut-out marks. Original vintage Decca sleeve. RECORD: MINT. I know for a fact this baby is unplayed.
