Description
Andre Williams (Mr. Rhythm) 45rpm Near Mint
Two great sides by Andre Williams also known as Mr. Rhythm backed by the Charlie Morris band. One of the great labels for R&B single artists and vocal groups Fortune records out of Detroit Michigan.
One side is "Jail Bait" and the other a nice ballad called "My Tears" Both songs written by Andre Williams. Second voice on "My Tears" is Gino Purifay.
I was working in a radio station in Pennsylvania in the 60's and they were throwing out record stock that was old. I got three of these in mint condition. I sold one already and have this last one left in super condition. The price I feel is too low, but your gain. Of course I have a third which stays in my collection.
For the best Rhythm and Blues and Rock n' Roll from the early years. Tune in every Wednesday online at wnhu.net from 10am to 1pm East Coast Time Zone. Also locally in the New Haven, CT area at 88.7 FM.
