Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4159, Andrew Hill Judgment, a blue and white, microgroove, NY  USA label, original mono issue of this classic record with RVG  and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in Near Mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover, with the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address has a little shelf wear but is excellent and intact. The labels show no spindle marks. A thumbnail inner sleeve is included. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this beautiful original mono Blue Note with all the necessary markers present*. I bought this record new and I am the original and only owner until now. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP-12 in mono mode. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.

*Some copies of this record have a deep groove label on side 1. According to Allan Songer's internet post and Fred Cohen's book (see pp77 Blue Note Records A Guide To Identifying Original Pressings), this is NOT a marker of a first pressing after BLP 4060.
