   ANDREW HILL      Point of Departure      Blue Note (Music Matters) MMBST 84167
Up for auction is a 2 lp (45 rpm) copy of the (U.S.) Music Matters (Blue Note - 2010) Andrew Hill classic March 1964 sextet session, "Point Of Departure". A pretty high watermark among mid-60s Blue Note releases featuring Kenny Dorham, Eric Dolphy, Joe Henderson, Richard Davis and Tony Williams. Avant 60s jazz just doesn't get any better. Essential.

VINYL VISUAL: NM as this has remained unplayed, and looks as such. 
VINYL PLAY GRADE: Assumed NM as I have not played the lp (I have a couple other pressings). 
COVER VISUAL: NM at best with one minor corner bump (see pictures).

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST.
