Description

Andrew Hill on Blue Note 4160

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Andrew Hill “Smoke Stack” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4160.  The playing surface is in near new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is also in beautiful condition – bright and clean throughout – with just a ¼” crease at the top of the back slick.  Illustrated inner sleeve is included.

Personnel include Richard Davis, Eddie Khan, and Roy Haynes.
