Andrew Oldham Orchestra – “I Get Around” b/w “Save It for Me” (Parrot 9745). The Andrew Oldham Orchestra was a musical side project in the mid-1960s created by Andrew Loog Oldham, the original manager and record producer of The Rolling Stones. There was no actual orchestra per se. The name was applied to recordings made by Oldham using a multitude of session musicians, including members of the Rolling Stones. This release was part of the “East Meets West” LP project in which featured Oldham honored two of his favorite groups – the Beach Boys and the Four Seasons. It is especially collectible because of the inclusion of Mick Jagger on vocals plus Jimmy Page (gtr, bass) / John McLaughlin (gtr) / Reg Guest (p) / Joe Moretti (gtr) / Andy White (dr) (and many more). Record is a dj copy in VG cond. Postage will be paid by purchaser. GRADING :
Grading is always subject to interpretation. I try to grade very conservatively.
M- This only comes up if it is new.
VG++ Rarely played, still like new.
VG+ Plays great but showing signs of age or wear.
VG Generally this grading still plays good, but may have surface noise and loss of record gloss.
VG- Many times these still are decent copies but ticks and pops and surface noise are usually present.
G+ Only sell at this grade if it is extremely rare, usually pretty beat but not unplayable.
