This is a record of Ann Sexton - The Beginning
Sound Stage 7 records MODERN SOUL (1977)



This album is an absolute killer modern soul album. The album was produced by the great John Richbourg (well known for his production of great tracks for example he produced most of Joe Simons greatest hits).
The song "Sugar Daddy" is my favorite. The album was released by the Sound Stage 7 label in 1977 which released a limited number of these albums as John Richbourg split from the label at the time. This album has become extremely rare over the years as Ann Sexton did her first performance (after 30 years of singing) only in 2007 which really put her on the music charts.
The album is an ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE  from the U.S. This is definetly a collector's must have.

Side Two: Color my world blue, Be serious, I want to be loved, Sugar daddy, You've been doing me wrong for so long.

The record and sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition. The Vinyl has one or two scratches but it plays well. The sleeve has a bit of wrinkles on the edge and also there is a cut-out at the top corner of the sleeve.
