British issue jazz compilation album ‘Annette Hanshaw – Sweetheart Of The Twenties’ (1970).

The album features an anthology of the prolific American female jazz singer's most memorable performances – plus some interviews. An interesting commemorative album.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): VINYL: VG+. Wonderfully clean on visual inspection. No sign of any marks, scuffs or hairlines. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is great throughout, though this is limited to the original quality of the archive recordings. Run-ins are clear with only the odd light static click. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen to this a archive release.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG. Duotones unfaded on laminated front. Light buckling and minor corner wear/creases. Edges and spine in great shape with no obvious defects. Small rips and bowing to aperture. Creasing here too. Light disc ring. Back cover has a few marks and damage to bottom left visible here too. A nice sleeve overall despite minor defects.
INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original poly-lined white sleeve with centre hole. Clean and intact. A decent example.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
